Earthquake is occurred in anywhere. Some are small, others are big. We are often influenced of earthquake. Of course, Japanese people have something to do with it a lot. The cause of earthquake is plate that move everyday. The Earth’s surface is covered with plate about 100km.
Japan: There are forth plates on Japan; Pacific plate, North American plate, Eurasia plate and Philippine Ocean plate. There are strikes under the ground. And the “Kantou Daishinsai” in 1923 killed about 100,000 people. At the age, Tokyo was destroyed by the fire. Recently “Niigataken Chuuetsu” Earthquake become a big problem that a life after earthquake.
New Zealand; There are two plate; Pacific plate and Australian plate. Pacific plate lays on most of Sothern Island. On the northern island and a part of sothern island, Australian plate are layed. Because of some big earthquake in 1848 and 1855, Wellington is suffered serious damage. The Wairarapa earthquake in 1855 is the biggest earthquake in New Zealand.
